Hairdresser's Journal and the art of hairdressing...

Heading into September, we've already started feeling the cool chill of the colder weather to come, and have been graced with the long awaited Pumpkin Spice Lattes, which are back in our favourite coffee shops. With Autumn comes a new and exciting season of dark reds, bright yellows and burnt orange colours, so if you're looking for inspiration this Autumn/Winter, read on!

Flicking through the pages of Hairdresser's Journal, you are welcomed to a wealth of inspirational and top tier creativity each month from the very best hairdresser's in the business today. One such dynamic duo, Ashley Haynes and Charlotte Oldfield were featured in Hairdresser's Journal July issue, with their new collection, SPECTRUM.

SPECTRUM is the work of artistic team Ashley Haynes and Charlotte Oldfield. The inspiration for the collection was drawn from fusing both strong colour and natural lighting, added against dark silhouettes of the models. The colours used from this collection are a fantastic blend of dark and light contrasting autumnal shades, which give the illusion of multi dimensional effect. The use of colour within this collection only accentuate the jagged and effortless cuts creating a striking overall look.
