Davines has always had a very clear vision from the production of all its products. By appreciating, and encouraging people to love and take care of themselves, and the environment in which they live.
Their ideal of beauty is represented in their belief of ‘sustainable beauty’ and minimizing the impact the production of their products has on the environment. It is because of this belief, and their ethics that Samuel David adopted the Davines brand into the salon.

All human activity produces carbon dioxide emissions. Currently the energy provided by renewable energy sources comprises only 19% of world production. It is also extremely important to aspire to a lifestyle that avoids CO2 emissions.
To offset the environmental impact, Davines uses renewable energy which has supplied its plants and offices since 2006. These inexhaustible sources of energy do not release CO2, they do not pollute and are constantly renewed.

At Samuel David Hairdressing, we use renewable energy as the source of all our electricity. Used within the salon it enables fantastic results with a positive outcome for our clients and the environment.

At Samuel David Eco Salon, each and every one of our stylists are committed and passionate about their career within hairdressing. As such, the team are always looking at ways to improve their individual skills and craft set, combined with their passion for all aspects of hairdressing.

The team at Samuel David have had extensive training, both externally from the salon and through training academies like Allilon Education and Fantastic Hairdresser.

You can be assured when you book an appointment at Samuel David Hairdressing each of our stylists, whether at an apprenticeship level or Style Designer, uphold the 5 star rating award to us by the Good Salon Guide.
Ensuring you leave our salon completely happy, and prepared to begin your new hair journey with us.

The team and I have striven to create a fantastic hairdressing salon and great experience for our clients so we really hope you like it :-)
Although I'm not a hairdresser I am always around so feel free to say hi or drop me an email with any suggestions or comments you may have.
The salon design and concept are based around the sustainable beauty concept set out by the brand we work closely with, Davines.
We always try to be as Eco-friendly as possible using renewable energy to power the salon and naturally derived products that are vegan approved and promote a low carbon footprint.
We also have a comprehensive recycling system and up-cycle where possible.
